Selling Your Story

Storytelling is no longer for the classroom, library or back porch. Major corporations have resident
storytellers for a reason, because frankly, stories sell. Corporations like Walt Disney, Fedex,
Whirlpool, Ford, Anheuser Busch, USAA, Starwood Hotels and Columbia Sportwear use stories to
increase the understanding of their brands and make them memorable to their customers, and so
can you!

Truth is, we have been telling stories all our life, we just have not leveraged those stories into our
business practice effectively.

Learn what elements are part of an effective story. Develop techniques to enhance your storytelling
style. Finally, write several anecdotes (short stories) which you can take away for your business
model.
