Mrs. Chappell is a native Californian and a United States Air Force Veteran. She’s a loving wife and the proud mother of two sons and a daughter. Mrs. Chappell is the Founder and President of Mothers and Daughters United, Inc. a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and BBB Accredited Charity that supports, encourages, and focuses on strengthening the bond between mothers & her children.
In Aug 2009, she began hosting an annual Mothers and Daughters Luncheon with her daughter, Desiree’ and many of her friends with daughters. It was during this time, that she realized the importance of their gathering and in January 2012 created the organization Mothers and Daughters United, Inc. The organization promotes the general welfare of women & children in education, health, parenting, leadership, and relationship building.
Mrs. Chappell also serves the Dayton community by volunteering as a Natural Helper (Mentor) for Reclaiming Futures, an initiative that offers a new approach to helping teenagers caught in the cycle of drugs, alcohol, and crime. Mrs. Chappell serves on the Advisory Board and Chairs the Community Project Committee for the Women Leadership Collaborative of Greater Dayton, an organization created by Mayor Nan Whaley and Dr. Kimberly Barrett. Mrs. Chappell is a motivational speaker and she focuses on strengthening mother and daughter relationships through unity, laughter, and love!
