Dr. Rachel E. Sturm is on a mission to help others see what is possible. She is a tenured Associate Professor of Management and International Business at Wright State University. Rachel examines the micro-level (behavioral and interpersonal) foundations of organizing and leadership in both her teaching and research; she is published and also consults with local businesses and non-profits on these topics. Her scholarly interests concern how individuals can develop leadership that adds value to others, their organizations, and society, as well as how power can change those who possess it.
Rachel earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Houston in Texas and her Bachelors in Psychology from Binghamton University in New York. Since joining the Raj Soin College of Business in 2014, she was awarded the 2016 university-wide Presidential Award for Early Career Achievement for excellence in teaching, research, and service, as well as her department’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2017.
