Frequently Asked Questions:
When is the Virtual Leadership Conference?
The ElevateHer Virtual Leadership Conference will take place over three days, Wednesday, Sept. 23rd to Friday, Sept. 25th from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST.
Where is this happening?
This is a virtual event that will take place online. So you will be able to attend and participate from the comfort of your office or home.
What platform is the event hosted on/how do I log in?
The event main stage will be hosted on Zoom. So please be sure to register with your Zoom account email. You will receive more details via email closer to the event.
When is the last day to register?
You can register until the final day of the event (September 25) But you'll want to register early to ensure you can take part in all the fun that will be happening before the event.
What is the agenda for the 3 days?
You'll receive an outline of the event highlighting the flow of each day closer to the event.
What equipment will I need to participate in the event?
You will need reliable internet access. Although we feel the best experience will be had from a laptop or desktop enabled with webcam and microphone, you can access any portion of the event from a tablet or smart phone.
I don't like being on video. Do I need to have my camera turned on?
Yes. This is a highly interactive conference that very closely mirrors a live, in-person event. Being present on camera for the entire conference ( excluding breaks) will not only elevate your experience, but the experience of those attending with you.
What if I can't attend the whole event? Will there be a replay?
Yes, there will be replay that will be made available for 30 days after the event. That being said, you'll get the most out if this conference by attending and fully participating LIVE...especially if your name gets called to win one of the many prizes being given away during the conference. Are we bribing you? Yes, we are!
What's the attire?
The dress code is whatever makes you the most comfortable (as long as you wear clothing...especially pants). Some may like to dress business casual, like you would for an in-person event, but sweats or PJ's are fine too. You'll have opportunities to interact and meet other attendees throughout the event, so keep in mind that other people WILL see you.
Is food provided?
No, silly. This is a virtual event! :) We suggest you have snacks and water at the ready throughout the day. Lunch breaks will happen everyday of the event, but you may want to prep something for lunch ahead or plan to order take out during the event to maximize your time between the sessions. You may also want to prep your family meals prior to the event so you can fully engage all 3 days.
Will there be breaks throughout the day?
Yes, each day there is a mid-morning break, lunch break and an afternoon break.
